Effective date: March 2026 · Last updated: April 2026

Board & Book (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Anonymous Account Identifier. When you open the app, Firebase Authentication generates a random anonymous user ID. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.

1.2 Progress Data. We store puzzle completion, reading progress, and game states. This data is stored locally on your device, synced to Firestore when online, and linked only to your anonymous identifier.

1.3 Purchase Data. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify purchase status and premium entitlement. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user ID and purchase status / entitlement status. We do not receive your Apple ID, payment details, or billing information.

1.4 Analytics. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (for example, puzzles solved, chapters read, games played, and settings changed). These events do not contain personally identifiable information.

1.5 Crash Reports. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash logs to help us fix bugs. Crash reports include device model, OS version, and stack traces. They do not include personal data.
