These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Board & Book application (“Board & Book,” “we,” “us,” or “the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Board & Book is a chess learning, training, and playing application for iPhone. It includes free content and premium content available through a paid in-app purchase.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

All content within Board & Book, including but not limited to puzzle explanations, training systems, written educational material, visual design, layout, interaction systems, and underlying software architecture, is owned exclusively by Board & Book or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No rights are granted except those explicitly stated in these Terms.
4.1 Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and billed to your Apple ID.
4.2 Board & Book currently offers a one-time purchase to unlock premium features. Pricing may vary by region.
4.3 The premium unlock is non-consumable and does not automatically renew.
4.4 All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Board & Book does not process payments or refunds directly.

Board & Book includes third-party open-source components, including the Arasan chess engine, licensed under the MIT License.
Attribution and license terms are provided within the app.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Board & Book shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, progress, or profits.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Board & Book from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Board & Book, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
